Anette Haellmigk on Cinematography

Anette Haellmigk is a Cinematographer who works in what has traditionally been a male-dominated area of the film industry. In this video interview, Anette joins Steve Waskul in the StudioXperience Broadcast Studio at the 2017 NAB Show. During this interview Ms. Haellmigk takes us on a journey through some of her memorable experiences in the industry starting with her work as a camera assistant in 1984 on The Neverending Story. Today Anette is working as Director of Photography for the TV show Game of Thrones.

About Anette Haellmigk

Anette has spent more than 2 decades developing her talents in the film industry. She has been honored with 2 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and three nominations for American Society of Cinematographers ASC Awards. In 2004 Ms. Haellmigk won the Emerging Cinematographer Award for her work on A Single Rose. In 2014 Anette shared the Online Film & Television Association award for Best Cinematography in a Series for her work on Game of Thrones. Ms. Haellmigk has also been honored with the Kodak Vision Award in 2012.
