NVIDIA VP of Developer programs Greg Estes joins Steve Waskul in the StudioXperience Broadcast Studio at SIGGRAPH 2017. During this interview Greg and Steve talk in detail about recent advances in NVIDIA GPUs and how they are being utilized in VR, gaming, self-driving cars, deep learning, product design and artificial intelligence.

About Greg Estes
Greg Estes is a senior marketing and business development executive with extensive experience in the intersection of technology and entertainment. Greg’s experience spans product marketing, market development, branding/positioning and corporate communications in B-B and B-C companies.
Mr. Estes is currently responsible for the NVIDIA SDK and worldwide developer programs focused on building the world’s best platform for GPU-accelerated computing in deep learning, HPC, virtual reality, gaming, self-driving cars, product design and intelligent machines.
Prior to joining NVIDIA, Greg ran marketing and client services for Mozes, an early-stage start-up in mobile engagement for music labels, consumer brands and sports franchises. Prior to Mozes, Greg was the Chief Marketing Officer of Avid Technology, a leader in digital audio and video solutions for consumers and media professionals whose iconic brands include Media Composer and Pro Tools.
Early in his career, Greg was responsible for the entry of Silicon Graphics into Hollywood and the entertainment industry, establishing SGI as the platform of choice for content creation, management and delivery in the 1990’s.
Greg Estes is a highly sought-after speaker and presenter and he has had peer-reviewed papers published in numerous technical journals, including SMPTE Journal and IEEE Spectrum. Greg has made multiple television appearances include being featured as a guest special effects expert on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1997.
