Virtual Sets with Zero Density’s Kuban Altan

Zero Density Vice President Research and Development Kuban Altan joins Steve Waskul in the StudioXperience Broadcast Studio at SIGGRAPH 2018. During this interview Kuban discusses virtual sets powered by Unreal Engine and the future for Zero Density’s Reality Engine software solution.

ZeroDensity’s Reality software was used during the live Waskul.TV broadcast from the 2018 NAB Show. At this show the software ran on HP Z8 Workstations with NVIDIA Quadro P6000 GPUs. Subsequent to the interview Reality was shown in StudioXperience at SIGGRAPH 2018 as part of the Waskul.TV broadcast there and the team achieved the world’s first 4K 60p live broadcast with a virtual set based on Unreal Engine.
