Technicolor’s Marcie Jastrow joins Steve Waskul in the StudioXperience Broadcast Studio at SIGGRAPH 2017. During the interview, Marcie explains Technicolor’s role in the visual effects industry and how each of the Technicolor owned VFX studios (Mikros Image, The Mill, MPC and Mr. X) leverage Technicolor’s research and innovation teams to harness the ever-changing technological demands of compelling storytelling. The interview also covers the role that will be played by the new Technicolor Experience Center.

About Marcie Jastrow

Marcie Jastrow is an industry veteran with over 18 years in the Entertainment business. Currently Marcie serves Technicolor as SVP Immersive Media and the Head of the new Technicolor Experience Center.

Marcie Jastrow previously served at Technicolor as the SVP of Sales where she was responsible for growing Technicolor’s sales pipeline across theatrical and broadcast post production services. In 2016 Jastrow was also named Head of Business Development within the VR/AR creative community, which represents a significant global growth opportunity for Technicolor.

Prior to joining Technicolor Marcie Jastrow served as EVP of Sales at Laser Pacific, which Technicolor acquired in 2011, and as SVP of Sales at Modern Video Film for over eight years. Known for her ability to bring together teams and workflows to make any size project succeed, her passion lays in bringing a creative’s vision to life.
